Hi there, I'm newly divorced and looking for friends to have fun with and maybe more eventually. I enjoy a rather eclectic mix of hobbies, and know a little about lots of stuff. Some of those hobbies are rather odd, like metalsmithing, another is swordplay- European fighting styles (not SCA or fencing). I love good conversations, coffee and friendship above most anything else. I'm not one for loud bars or clubs, but do enjoy live music, and eventually need to learn how to actually dance... I also enjoy hiking, camping and things of that nature, as well as relaxing with a good book (Sci-Fi or Fantasy for "mental floss" history as well). Don't even have cable, so I don't really watch much TV- but love movies. The person I would like to find has to have strong convictions about thier beliefs, be they political, religious, or whatever- but be willing to discuss them, not argue about them. They must be honest, caring and able to show this in both word and deed. They would be able to have thier own hobbies which can be shared or for themselves, and finally must be able to be complete by themselves. If you can't be a "whole person" on your own, some one else cannot make you complete.

A nice time at a coffee shop or restaurant, followed by a movie, and then some time after for discussion of the movie. Could be a play instead, or even a concert. Just depends on the person.

To try to live like the idle rich. Too much money, not nearly enough time to spend it all. Or maybe that was another dream...

Really, to travel around europe with my love. going to new unusual places and learning the languages.
